Editorial and corrections policy

A zone shown as active when it has been lifted, and someone buys a sticker for nothing. A zone shown as lifted when it still applies, and someone pays a 100-euro fine. Here is how we avoid both.

Responsibility

Radif Partners answers for every zone, every group assignment and every amount shown. Report a discrepancy to contact@umweltzonecheck.de; we check it against the official source.

Official sources only

Zones and dates come from the Federal Environment Agency list, rules from the legal text, details from the cities’ and states’ own pages. Nothing is copied from a sticker seller, a motoring club or another site. Anything no official source confirms is marked “not confirmed”.

Simplifications, always stated

The sticker check by Euro norm follows the Federal Environment Ministry’s simplified table. In an individual case the key number in the vehicle papers decides, and every result says so.

Checks before publication

Every build tests the number of zones, the lifting dates, the assignment rules and the fine against the values read; a mismatch stops publication.

Rhythm

The Federal Environment Agency list is read at least monthly, city pages whenever a change is reported.

Independence

No business link with any issuing office, testing body or seller. Any such link would be stated in the text.
